Ingredients

Directions

  1. put mustard seed in bottom of mason jar
  2. slice turnips approximately 1/4 inch thick, then cut each slice in half; place in jar
  3. tear cabbage leaves into large pieces and place on top of turnips, tucking edges downward against the sides of the jar to keep turnips submerged
  4. put ferment weight on top of cabbage leaf pieces
  5. cover with brine
  6. seal
